Yes! You have found us. I'm happy that you are looking over our website and I hope to meet you soon. In just a few words I would like to introduce you to our church. First Congregational UCC is:

· An Inclusive Community –This means that we welcome and affirm everyone who steps through our doors. We pray for folks even before we know who they are. We seek to be part of God's extravagant welcome. If you come you will be warmly welcomed – "no matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey." Moreover, your spiritual journey will be honored and affirmed – no matter what!

· A Worshipping Community—We consider our worship services to be services of celebration. What to celebrate? Life itself, the unmerited generosity of God, the rhythms and beat of our lives in God. We open our hearts in worship. We find God and one another. We find Life!

· A Praying Community—Through the practices of prayer and meditation our hearts are open and we rest in the Presence of the Holy.

· A Transforming Community—As we encounter the Holy, we find ourselves transformed. Love and compassion abound. Life flows. With Love at the center of our community and lives we reach out joining God's transforming activity in the world.

· A Community of Justice—We look to a world where all people can have enough to eat, a roof over their heads and a government that will treat them with the respect that is due them as children of God. We have been known to work for this justice in many ways, from protest to giving generously to the welfare of others.
