| The Gathering |
8:30 AM |
| This new service is for those who
are looking for something entirely different, an intergenerational
(from 3 to 103) experiment in worship. With Spirit as our guide
we will move from contemplative quiet to out loud praise and
thanksgiving. Truly a celebration,
“The Gathering” will
open hearts as it celebrates the love that joins us all. Nursery
Care will be offered for children 3 and under.

| Adult Study |
9:15 AM |
| Between our services we’re
meeting OVER COFFEE to visit with one another and share meaningful
discussions in our adult education classes. Or perhaps we’re
just enjoying a cup of delicious, fresh-brewed FAIR TRADE Beneficio
coffee. |
| Worship Celebration |
10:30 AM |
Our
worship service at 10:30 is for those who enjoy active, alive
worship. Children attend this service the first 15 minutes
and typically move to their Church School classes after Children’s
Time. This service keeps our amazing Chancel Choir busy. We
sing the wonderful old hymns of the church, focusing our time
together on the presence of God-with-us. Each month on the
first Sunday we celebrate communion with our friends from
The First Samoan Congregational Church, Santa Rosa.
Nursery Care is
available for all our services. |
| After Worship over Coffee |
11:30 AM |
| There
will be a hospitality hour following the later service. On occasion,
special speakers will be invited to address the congregation
at this time. |
Becoming a Member of Our Community
Membership is a orientation of our hearts to God and to a particular community. Joining a church is an opportunity to commit to deepening your spiritual life in communion with fellow seekers. We enjoy receiving new members into our community. To become a member:
- begin to participate regularly in our church’s life – attend
worship, our education events, come to coffee hour and church
potlucks – get to know us, our outlook and approach to faith and
community
- attend a Wednesday night “new members” orientation.
- and finally, JOIN! There is a short “ritual of fellowship” during
Sunday worship where you actually become a member.
If you think membership might be for you we encourage you to speak with our minister, David Parks-Ramage.
